It's been a while since I last posted something here. Right now I don't have the time to post regularly neither here, nor in my other online galleries. I've just started a graphic design course in the mornings (6 hours in front of the computer), apart from my photography course in the afternoon (3 hours), so when I arrive home I don't have the time nor the mood to come here.

Also, a jar with water fell down over my laptop, so now I'm typing from a computer that my bf lent me until I receive my new one.

Over these last weeks I've taken some conceptual pictures (class assignments) but I think they're worth to look at. I had amazing marks in these ones, and I'm really proud of them :)

Last week a famous stylist from Granada came to our school so we could practice fashion photography, and i think that i took some nice shoots here too. Each student only had a few minutes to take photographs of the model. But as we're going to have more photoshoots in the next month I think I'm gonna end with a nice photography portfolio :)

I'll probably edit some more pics in these days, but these ones are the best from the shoot.

I really hope to find some time to do some shoots during the weekends, but the weather is so bad, and I don't have my studio lights to practice indoors.

This year I'll be also working on my own website, so hopefully I'll have it up and running this year (if I can afford the domain). I will be cleaning up my blog and maybe redesigning it again. I have to blogs by now, in spanish and english, but I may reduce them only to one blog and language. I know that only a few people read my blog, and hardly ever I receive comments. So I think that english may be my final decission, but I still have to think about it.

Fragile + new prints

Another class assignment. In this case we had to place the attention in the geometric center of the image.

I added this image to my RB Store and now it's available to purchase as card, print, canvas, mounted print, etc, as well as some new added illustrations i had stored.

Until December 24th the prices have a 30% discount on all the products available on my store, so you can buy them at a cheaper price for Christmas :)

Yesterday I received new ink cartridges for my home printer and decided to give it a try in glossy photo paper, cos' some months ago it printed horribly bad two images i had to do for uni assingments. But yesterday they came out pretty good! Not as good as in a professional printer, but they look nice :)

(blurry and horrible quality, i know)

First I thought to make a physical portfolio with the images, but as they are not so professional looking, i may use them to bring my new room to life. For those who didn't know, i'm moving this thursday to granada (south of spain) to take a professional photography course, and i'll be living at a student's flat. My flatmates are older than me (30 years), but one of them is a model, so it will be awesome as I'll be able to take some pics of her for my portfolio ^^

I've also updated some prints at my untapped source store, but they still have to be approved. When they're finally up, i'll make a quick update just to let you know :)

I'm not going to have internet for a while, so until then, take care everyone!

On Sunday I met two friends to take some pictures in the fields. One was going to be the model, and the other one the light assistant, but finally I took pictures of her too :) It's been such a long time since I last took pictures of a model! I may take some selfs soon. And today I'm meeting a friend living in London, that has come to visit for some days, and I may take pictures of him too (my first time shooting males!). Wish me some luck!

Life Update

It's been such a long time since I last wrote here. I've been taking a deserved rest after graduating, and meeting some old friends, before I leave. Weeks are starting to pass so quickly that I'm starting to feel anxious: I haven't done anything yet.

Well, I'm working on some commissioned works for a photographer and need to organize test shoots with friends and aspiring models, so i can practice a bit. First I have to search for nice locations... I can't wait to take my camera outside and start shooting, as well as I can't wait to start my photography course ^^

I think I'm gonna take some stock pictures of friends and myself, and start introducing some painting in my photomanips. My works really need to evolve :)

Apart from that, I think i'm going to work on some premade backgrounds, actions, etc, and try to sell them at low prices. But slowly. I have some things to do first.

I feel so lazy these days...

Redemption - Latest Artwork

Finally I managed to finish this illustration. I couldn't find the proper way to solve the background, but I could do what the model suggested (battle field, lances, crows...) and found the stocks for it.

The temple and lances are rendered in DAZ3D Studio and then treated in Photoshop. The crow is from shoofly-stock and everything else from sxc.hu.

The model picture was taken by me from the photoshoot for medieval costume designer El Costurero Real.

Tarot Deck Project: The Tower

I'm just working on my new project about the Tarot Deck. It was a Uni work, and I already did 5 cards of the major arcana, but now i'm searching for the stocks to do the rest.
By now I only have the illustrations and the back side of the cards, so I still have to do the front with the title of each card, etc.

Grad Filters

Today I received my three brand new grad filters today, yay!

I can't wait to try them, but I need time to go out and try them with some landscape photography.

On the other hand, i'm so busy with my uni assignments... It's my last year at uni, and I only have 1 month to finish them all. I feel so stressed but I can't work properly. I only want June to come, so everything it's over and I can have some free time to do test shootings with friends. I really need to practice my portraiture a bit!

But for that, I need a good portrait lens, such as a 50mm f/2 macro for my Olympus. And it's about 500€ aprox :( Let's see if i can find it cheaper somewhere...

I'm updating my online store at untapped source, and soon my latest digital artworks will be available for you to purchase in a wide range of paper types and sizes. I'm moving my selling artworks over there, as it's a cleaner gallery without comments, favorites, etc and as a shop, it works much better for me without all that nonsense.

I already have these ones ready to buy!
Also, my latest work, and maybe the one i'm most proud of, is available to purchase there!

I'm still working on the design of my blog, as I'm using it as a website, adding and removing elements, but i'm still not satisfied with it. So forgive my continuous changes ;)
